You've Been Choosing Which Jesus to Follow
Where I've minimized You — confront me.
Where I've misunderstood You — teach me. Amen.
"For in Him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily."
Colossians 2:9
The whole fullness — pleroma in Greek. Not a portion. Not the version that makes you comfortable. The entire nature of God, fully present in the body of Jesus. That means you don't get to take the Lamb and leave the Lion. You don't get to take the healer and leave the one who overturns tables.
When we receive the whole Jesus — not the comfortable version — we stop managing our faith and start being transformed by it. Because the full Jesus doesn't just offer peace. He demands surrender.
"You like Jesus relatable. But not Jesus authoritative. That's not relationship. That's religion with better branding."
Name one area you've been controlling — one decision, habit, or relationship where you've kept Jesus out. Say it specifically.
I receive You fully — God and man. Lamb and Lion. Grace and truth.
