Proverbs 28:13 — “Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy.”
When Confession Is Convenient
It’s easy to confess once we’ve been caught.
But real repentance doesn’t wait for exposure — it responds to conviction.
The mercy of God is for the repentant, not the manipulative.
You can’t outsmart Heaven.
Confession must come before consequence.
And renouncing the sin must follow the apology — otherwise it’s just performance.
God isn’t interested in your carefully crafted PR statement.
He wants your surrendered soul.
🔥 Reflection Prompt:
Have I truly repented — or just reacted to being uncomfortable?
