When God Goes Silent

Amos 8:11 — “The days are coming,” declares the Sovereign Lord, “when I will send a famine… not a famine of food… but a famine of hearing the words of the Lord.”

When God Goes Silent

There’s a famine worse than hunger — spiritual silence.

Sometimes we cry, “Where is God?” but fail to recognize He warned us this would happen.
When disobedience becomes generational, and sin is celebrated, God’s Word may stop flowing.

The scariest judgment is not fire — it’s silence.
When conviction fades, when the Word no longer hits, when sermons feel empty — it may not be the preacher. It might be a divine pause.

Are you scrolling for signs when God already sent Scripture?
Do you keep asking for confirmation while ignoring conviction?

Seek the Word before it’s withdrawn.
Don’t assume God’s patience is permission.

🔥 Reflection Prompt:
Have I mistaken God’s silence for His approval?
